The Great Fear of Niching... and Why You Need to Get Over It!
Do you find yourself offering a wide range of products and services, trying to offer anything that you can to everyone that you meet? I certainly did, when I started my business! I offered every service that I thought I could perform-from design, to CD burning, to printing (off of my home inkjet printer!), to typing and transcription. Once, I even helped a family pack for a move-I had the spare time in my schedule, and it paid a few bucks!

Why Most Entrepreneurs Just Don't Make It
Yesterday I was one of more than nine thousand people watching Rich Schefren, CEO of Strategic Profits, conduct a live "webinar" for thousands on the Internet and hundreds in a South Florida hotel meeting room. Rich is famous, particularly among Internet marketers. He, like most of his own clients, is an entrepreneur, but with a distinct difference: he understands the need for research, strategic planning and getting yourself on track, before you can ever run your own business well. "Before you can grow any business, you have to focus on yourself."

Creativity Creates Real Wealth
So many businesses are just plain dull. Totally lacking is that spark of creativity and energy. Instead, an image of decadence and boredom. I try to avoid shopping in these places. I bet many other people do likewise. I'm always on the lookout for the guy who dares to be different. Who believes his customers are entitled to a little theater in their shopping experience. I've been a retailer for 40 years and in that time I've learnt a lot about the retail business. Something which is never fully learnt or even properly understood is the element of creativity. The importance of finding creative ways to attract customers and even more creative ways of selling to them.

30 Creative Ways You can Use a Virtual Assistant to Make Life Easier
This list is not exhaustive. You might be surprised at how creative some entrepreneurs have become to utilize VA's to make their own lives easier. Some entrepreneurs have a team of VA's who specialize in different niches, which is understandable. Very few individuals are experts in all areas… you find many Jacks of all trades, Masters of none, but every now and then you do find a Master, and if the price fits… well, you'd be silly to let that one go, wouldn't you!

The Dangers of Using Yahoo Answers for Research
In case you didn't know, there is a website run by Yahoo where anyone can post a question and receive an answer. It's at answer.yahoo.com and a rather interesting place to spend some time. They have categories from business to travel, all sub-divided and quite specific. You become a member for free, pick a user name and password and you can either ask or answer a question. That being said, why am I wasting your time posting an article about it? Well, it's a wonderful social experiment. Ordinary people that need advice can put their question on the Internet and get an answer from a total stranger. You have no idea how smart that respondent is and what are their qualifications.

Students Making Money While Still In School
Being a student is not a hindrance to make money. We have heard of so many stories about working students who ended up more successful than full time students. These part time students practiced good management and were able to work their way through college or were able to support family while still in school. Making money while in school is not just an option for the poor.

The Right Mindset for Success in Business
The first step is belief and trust in yourself, and know yourself as someone who provides value to others by way of the services or products you provide. The best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others. That is the only way you will be 100% committed to what you are creating - 95% commitment or less can become very difficult over time, however 100% commitment puts you in "the zone". With 100% commitment you will continue your work, no matter what may block the path.

Turning a Hobby into Profit
What is your hobby? Are you passionate about it? Does it give you lots of pleasure? Your hobby could also give you lots of profits on the Internet. Hobbies are a great subject for information products to sell online. People spend lots of money on their hobbies, and they buy stacks of information about their hobbies -- books, videos, plans. Virtual PBX, An Investment In Your Image
Is it possible to buy a professional image? Of course it is. People do it everyday with business cards, an expensive suit and haircut, a nice office front and well designed websites to name just a few examples. All of these things tell your potential customers about you and your business before you even get a chance to talk to them. It is important that they are portraying the right image. A common mistake many small and home based businesses make is not including their phone system in their image campaign. All too often a potential customer is impressed by the professional image that is presented to them until they go to call. Then two things can happen that turn them off. One, the business only has a local number. And two, if they decide to go ahead and dial the local number, the whole experience can leave them wondering if there really is a reliable company behind the image they first encountered. Now, with virtual PBX systems small and home based businesses never have to sound small and unprofessional again.

The following advice on setting up an office at home contains some fairly obvious suggestions and is not in any order of importance, but surprisingly many people fail to think about them and end up working in very uncomfortable surroundings.

It All Started Like This
The true unadorned truth about becoming a work at home Cafepress.com shopkeeper 'Wanna-A-Be!' A few months ago, I accidentally found the Cafepress.com site as I was deleting the porn collection from my son's computer. Guess he must have gotten side-tracked a bit and found Cafepress! (Somebody must have some really juicy keywords working very well! Wonder if I can borrow them?) As I was scoping out the sight looking for the airbrushed pictures (Sorry guys, but it's true) of naked women that my dearly departed son had collected (No, I didn't kill him … just maimed him a little), I took the needed break to read and analyze the marketing concept of Cafepress. I was hooked!

Competition is Good, Copying is Bad
We recently came across a competitor using our sales copy. The competitor was using a web graph showing the traffic on one of our sites, along with our sales copy to promote their competing application. Digging a little further, I realized that their competing application was, in both form and function, identical to our application. The competing program contained identical screenshots, custom program icons and our help documentation. While the code of the program was, in fact, different, it was clear that our copyright had been violated.

Every person who begins an online business usually has one goal in mind - to make more money! Why Amazon's affiliate program is not worth the trouble
Selling books online for referral commissions is a useful way to supplement the income form any site, but watch out for the big shark. Well, they're not just a bookstore anymore they sell just about every consumer product you could care to buy online. They were certainly among the first to use affiliate marketing, or associates as Amazon call their affiliate program. Before we look at the big flaw in the Amazon associates program lets just look at what are Amazon.com's major virtues. Their search system and enhancements are first class. What are blogs and how do you profit from them?
'Blogs' or 'Blogging' have existed for several years and there are still many people who don't know what one is and how important it is to making you money. A blog is a web log. It's used to add contents of a diary or news by the owner (blogger). For example, I may want to blog about the latest affiliate programs there are and ones that have good commissions as soon as I know about them. People can visit my website and see new contents on my website regularly.
