Opportunities in the Wedding Industry

By Patrick Ryan

Are you interested in starting up your own business but unsure where to start? I recommend looking for a starting business that doesn’t require a lot of initial outlay investment and one that is statistically getting bigger and bigger.

The wedding industry has been exploding in recent years. Here are some statistics to wet your appetite There are somewhere around 2.5 million weddings every year in the United States Alone So… about $40 billion is spent on weddings every year in the U.S. Some believe that number is low! The # then rises to be around 80 billion! Today s average couple will spend roughly $18-30 thousand dollars on their wedding!

First of all you’ll want to figure out what area you’ll be best suited to. Here are some areas which you may want to consider:

Photographers
Videographers
Wedding Planners
Caterers
Disk Jockey
Florist
Wedding Cake Vendors
Wedding Website business

There is no reason why you can’t combine a couple of these. For example a Wedding planner with a videographer. Or a videographer and a Wedding Website Business. By integrating some of these businesses you may find they work very well together.

It must be said that recently there have been many changes in the Wedding industry due to technology. It may be worth cashing in on yourself. Try a Wedding Website Business for size like http://www.weddingwebsitesonline.com/. It alleviates people the nightmare of arranging many people to attend a wedding ceremony or function. A lot of people like myself prefer the old traditional method of personalized letters of invitation. But at the same time I have to admit I’m so strapped for time it’s even hard for me to sign the invitation, wack it in the envelope and throw it in the postbox.

I’m afraid the time has come for speed and convenience for both the wedding planner and guests alike. Like it or not Wedding Websites are here to stay and growing day by day.

The wedding industry is growing at a great pace and booms in the summer. I recommend you find your niche area in it and be ready to jump on for the ride for next season.
