Help! I'm New and I Don't Know What 'Tools' I Need!

By Bryan A. Jones

Every person who begins an online business usually has one goal in mind - to make more money!

But making more money online becomes virtually impossible without having basic tools to get you from where you are today financially to where you want to be in the future.

For instance, a carpenter will need to have a hammer, screwdrivers,a measuring rule and a pencil before they begin a new task. An auto mechanic will need to have a set of wrenches, a manual and diagnostic tools before they begin working on a car.

So must you, as an online marketer, have certain basic "tools" in your "toolbox" before you begin your online adventure. If these tools are in place you will be successful and in business for the long term. You will reach your financial goals.

Here's the basic "tool" list:

1. Good Mentor (priceless)
2. Good ISP (Internet Service Provider)
3. Web Site w/Web Hosting
4. Your Own Domain Name
5. e-Newsletter or Ezine
7. Good Email Program
8. Autoresponder

These tools are NECESSARY or you just pretending if you don't have them!

Let me just highlight a few of these tools and their importance.

We mentioned in one of our earlier articles how important it is to have
a mentor, someone to show you the way. Notice I didn't say "guru". Gurus
are a dime a dozen but a mentor is priceless. The mentor cares about his
student's succcess, not just about how much he knows or how much money he
can get out of people.

You need a newsletter or ezine to keep in touch with your subscribers. The online business industry (as well as any business) is a relationship
industry. Though you never see their faces, your subscribers are real
people with real lives. They are not just black letters on a white screen!
Treat them well and treat them often.

You also need a good autorespnder because you can't be at your computer 24
hours a day/7 days a week. That's probably one of the reasons you decided to get into an online business. You don't want to be tied down all the time.
You want to enjoy more of your time and an online business allows this.

Autoresponders are good because they can send messages for you automatically
so you don't have to do it manually. When your subscriber list gets big (and it will) you don't want to be answering every single email for every single
subscriber. When will you sleep?!

These are the basics. There's much more to learn and we don't have the space
to cover everything here, however I do have a recommendation.

Go to: http://www.pushbuttonpublishing.com/affiliates/t.php?rid=21735

and you can get most of these tools for one low price. I don't mean for this
article to become a commercial but I want to steer you in a direction I
believe is best. I recommend this company because I use them myself. It
literally is one of the best deals on the 'net.

So let's get our tools and become financially free!
